R.E.D. has recently achieved partner status with Google, meaning we are now fully certified with the necessary skills and expertise to manage your Google requirements. To achieve partner status requires 12 months solid performance coupled with team members being individually certified (certifications are also only valid for 12 months, ensuring our team are always up to date with any changes). We have a minimum of 2 certified individuals across Search, Display and Mobile, enabling us to ensure solid performance across all platforms.

Google has a massive user base and is one of the largest digital advertising mediums in existence. Google Ads is Google's digital advertising programme which allows businesses to target their campaigns to very specific audiences. Google Ads is an extremely powerful marketing tool for any business, that is if it’s done right. Google Ads can be tricky, but at R.E.D. we have perfected the art and science that is Google Ads. Our cetified specialists will help you create and deliver the most effective campaigns.

If you are not familiar with the different platforms/options Google Ads offers, here is a quick overview:
    • Search

      Search Ads are triggered when people type in keywords/phrases into their browser or Google. There are 2 primary call to actions – Click-to-Web and Call. With Click-to-Web, your ad drives the user to a landing page with a strong call to action and conversion tracking. There are multiple add-ons (extensions) for search ads, the most appropriate being:

      • - Sitelinks (a word linking to a specific page on your site, such as “Specials”; “New Vehicles”; “Used Vehicles” etc)
      • - Location extensions (a link to your google location – ideal if you want to drive people into your dealership)
      • - Call extensions (a link to enable click to call for mobile visitors to encourage them to phone your dealership). This particular extension has become very popular given the increase in mobile search traffic.

      If you want to purely drive phone calls and not push people to your website, this is possible using a Call Only campaign. The website address is still displayed, however the link only activates the call option. This is great strategy to drive inbound calls for specific campaigns. All phone calls are also measured as conversions as long as they connect for more than 60 seconds (tracked via google).

      As these ads only trigger when someone types in a matching keyword/phrase, the lead quality is typically the best (with the exception of remarketing), however the competition is also high as the customer is actively searching for the best deal (not necessarily just price).

    • Display

      Ads on the Display network consist of images and text which links back to your website. The primary difference between Display and Search is that, apart from the addition of an image to your ad, on the Display Network you are reaching people earlier in the buying cycle (they weren’t necessarily looking for a vehicle, but happened to see your ad and clicked on it). This is almost like a modern-day magazine / newspaper advert with some serious tracking and analytics built into it.

      Where does your ad display: we can target amongst 2 million websites spanning 90% of gloabla internet users based on demographics, context and content. What this means is we can narrow the audience to people who are currently looking to buy a vehicle.

    • Mobile

      It is no secret that the mobile phone has become the modern-day personal computer and that the majority of Google searches take place on a mobile device. For this reason there are specific ad formats for mobile, such as Call Only.

      With the targeting and scheduling options, we can target people currently in market for a new vehicle and schedule your ad to only run during business hours, ensuring any calls are answered.

There are two components to the costs, the advert creation and management thereof, and then the Ad Spend (the amount paid to Google).

Our rates are as follows:

*Special pricing available for monthly website campaigns.
^Ad Sets consist of 3 variations of an advert and are typically grouped by model/special.
Display ads include 4 image sizes and 3 variations of an advert.
Gifs are also possible, however will cost extra depending on the number of frames (maximum is 150 which is displayed at a maximum speed of 5 frames per second).
